From a young age, Dr. Jane Goodall inspired Izzy to commit his life to ensuring the betterment of the life of every individual (human or non-human) that crosses his path, especially those that he has the privilege to have in his medical care. He loves to take on a new challenge and is always actively engaged in research and continuing education to provide the best and most cost-effective treatments.
Izzy’s lifelong passion for working with animals and making a positive difference in the world has taken him around the planet to support wildlife conservation and community development projects in developing nations. He has worked with a variety of species and has a special interest in exotics, various aspects of internal medicine as well as surgery. An active member of the local community and an avid photographer, he also volunteers his time with several education and conservation-based organizations and services Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary in Ontario.
“We have the choice to use the gift of our life to make the world a better place or not to bother.”
